Lonesome Village's Gameplay Design
As Lonesome Village's sole game designer, I had to put on multiple hats. Some of my work on this game includes:
Progression & Gameplay Design
Crafted the core game loop for Lonesome Village from the ground up. Early on the development of the game, I was tasked with designing a way to integrate the games two genres (Social sim and Puzzles), focusing on player exploration and create a highly engaging gameplay loop.

Mission & Quest Design
Lonesome Village's gameplay is divided 50/50 between Puzzles inside a tower and talking to and helping the NPC villagers outside in the overworld. I was tasked with filling the overworld with lots of content for the player to do. I designed and implemented over 100 NPC missions and mini-games to do in the 5 areas of the overworld focusing narrative and visual story telling. As well as designed a simple yet engaging economy system.

Puzzle Design
As mentioned before, half of Lonesome Village's playthrough is spent in a tower, in which each floor has a different puzzle.
I designed and implemented over 30 zelda-style puzzles that challenged players’ spatial reasoning and observation skills. My work focused on creating satisfying “aha” moments that integrated naturally with the tower's floor structure.
